Making our Mark at SXSW

We had our chance to make a physical impression at SXSW too!

Whew! What a whirlwind. Most of team Dighu just returned from an incredible, full, inspiring, overwhelming 10 days at SXSW 2013. Our time started with a bang when we were the premier sponsors for Omma on the very first day, and the momentum continued when we sponsored an after party for the launch of Brian Solis’ brand new book. Brian Solis’ philosophies have been an inspiration to Dighu’s founders, and it was an honor for them to meet him, not to mention a huge opportunity to talk to him about Dighu.

Awesomeness continued to happen when our Terry Torok was interviewed by  New Media Journalist Hermione Way, and he did a fantastic job of representing our company. CHECK OUT MINUTES 19-33 :D

We are excited to take all of our footage, inspiration, lessons-learned and fine tune them as we add to and complete our website. Our time in Austin showed us that the media world is ready for what Dighu has to offer, and moreover it showed us that what we are creating is new and necessary. We aren’t about people sitting behind their computers writing about doing good. We are about CHALLENGING people to GET UP and do good. As psychologist Keith Ablow frighteningly termed it, “we are raising a generation of deluded narcissists.” We are so used to be spectators to our own lives, it’s time to start participating in them with our whole hearts and our whole will. We are inspired!

Have a great day, and remember to make someone smile!
